The background of the problem in this study is the low ability of the squat style long jump. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of hurdles and target-reaching training on the ability of the squat style long jump in students of SDN 1 Warugede. The population was 175 students. The sampling technique used Purposive Sampling. The design of this study used One Group Pretest Posttest. The sample was 30 students. The method used was experimental. The data collection technique used a skill test with a squat style long jump assessment rubric carried out in the initial and final tests.Data processing and analysis techniques used SPSS 25. The results of the hypothesis test in the study, the t-count value = 11,407> t-Table value = 1,697. In addition, the probability is greater, namely 0.00 <0.05. Thus, the hypothesis is accepted or there is a significant effect of hurdles and reaching targets on the ability of the squat style long jump. Based on the t-value obtained, hurdle jumping and target reaching exercises have an influence on the basic technical ability of the squat style long jump in class V students at SDN 1 Warugede.
