This study is motivated by the important role of financial technology (fintech) in reformulating the global economic landscape, including in the context of Islamic economics. With the development of the digital era, there are new opportunities and challenges in the implementation of Islamic economic principles based on Maqasid Sharia, namely the protection of religion, soul, mind, offspring, and property. This study focuses on the application of Maqasid Sharia in fintech regulation and examines the suitability of the Islamic economic legal framework in the digital era. The research method in this study is to use the literature research method. The results of this study show that fintech regulation shows great potential to align with Maqasid Sharia, such as safeguarding religion (hifz al-din), safeguarding property (hifz al-mal), and safeguarding intellect (hifz al-aql) through sharia supervision, data protection, and transparency policies, provided that there is improvement in the aspects of education and law enforcement. With further commitment, Islamic fintech can provide ethical, fair, and financial solutions in accordance with the principles of Islamic economics for people in the digital age.
