This study is motivated by the low learning motivation among students at SMA Dar El Iman Islamic Boarding School Padang. The objectives of this research are to describe 1) the strategies employed by Sociology teachers to enhance students' learning motivation 2) the implementation of these strategies and 3) the obstacles faced by Sociology teachers in improving student motivation. The theoretical framework of this study is based on constructivist theory, and the research employs a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and document studies, with a total of eight informants consisting of Sociology teachers, students, and the school principal. Data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman (1992: 20) technique, with individuals serving as the unit of analysis.The findings indicate that the teachers apply learning strategies and methods using Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and Inquiry-Based Learning approaches, creating an active and enjoyable learning environment that prevents student boredom. Additionally, the use of learning media such as educational videos and game quizzes through the Quizizz website enhances student enthusiasm and motivation. However, challenges identified include the lack of digital learning tools like projectors and insufficient textbooks.
