<![CDATA[The study aims to determine: (1) The level of students’ learning outcomes before and after the application of Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach based on Kajang local wisdom. (2) The improvement of students' learning outcomes after the application of the CRT approach. (3) A significant increase in students' learning outcomes after the application of the CRT approach. This research is pre-experiment research with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The study population was students of class VII of SMPN 1 Bulukumba in the 2023/2024 school year, with 24 students from class VII.6 as sample that selected using Purposive Sampling technique. The instrument was a multiple choice questions on Indonesian Ecology and Biodiversity material. Data was analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics. The results showed 1) The learning outcomes of students before the application were in the low category with an average score of 6.21 and after the application was in a very high category with an average score of 16.75, 2) The improvement of students' learning outcomes obtained an average N-Gain of 0.76 with a high category. 3) There is a significant increase in student learning outcomes based on the t-test of learning outcomes.]]>
