Pratista Retreat House has implemented a Retreat House Booking Information System that allows people to make room reservations and enables management to handle rooms, facilities, and orders. However, Pratista does not yet have a financial information system, resulting in several financial management challenges. Operational expenses are still recorded manually, making it difficult for the management to track spending transactions. Moreover, accounting principles have not been applied in its financial management, which limits the ability to generate up-to-date financial reports needed to support optimal financial decision-making. In this activity, a Financial Information System (FIS) was developed to address these challenges. It consists of two main modules. The Expenditure Module includes features for recording expenses across various categories and generating detailed and summary expenditure reports based on the most recent data. The Accounting Module provides features for defining a Chart of Accounts (CoA), recording journal entries, and generating Statements of Financial Position, Activities, and Cash Flows. The system was evaluated through two rounds of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and users have confirmed that their requirements have been met. The financial information system has since been installed on the Parahyangan Catholic University server and is now actively used by the Retreat House management.
