<![CDATA[ABSTRAKPada saat ini kota Baturaja, Ogan Komering Ulu, Sumatera Selatan belum mempunyai motif batik khas daerah. Oleh karena itu perlu diciptakan desain motif batik khas daerah yang sumber inspirasinya digali dari kekayaan seni tradisional daerah setempat yaitu seni ukir. Tujuan penciptaan seni ini adalah untuk menghasilkan motif batik yang unik, kreatif dan inovatif yang mempunyai ciri khas kota Baturaja. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pengumpulan data, pengamatan mendalam terhadap motif-motif ukir, pengkajian sumber inspirasi, pembuatan desain motif, dan perwujudan menjadi batik. Dari penciptaan seni ini berhasil dikreasikan 5 (lima) motif batik yaitu Bungo Nan Indah, Embun Nan Sejuk, Air Nan Segar, Kotak Nan Rancak, dan Ceplok Nan Elok.Kata kunci: seni ukir tradisional, inspirasi, penciptaan, batik khas BaturajaABSTRACTAt this time Baturaja City, of Ogan Komering Ulu, of South Sumatra does not have the local typical motif of batik.
