Abstract

This study aims to describe and understand the morphophonemic processes of Arabic verbs and their derivations, particularly in Juz' 30 of the Quran. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research method. Data collection employed library techniques, utilizing written sources from Juz' 30 of the Quran. Data analysis applied the theory of morphophonemic processes in Arabic to the collected and classified data. The data analysis will be presented informally. The transliteration guidelines used are the Joint Decree (SKB) of the Minister of Religious Affairs and the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 158 of 1987 and Number 0543b/U/1987. From the results of data collection and classification, there are 311 data on morphophonemic processes in the Qur'an, chapter 30, with details of (1) 252 data on الإعلال /al-i'la>l/, (2) 22 data on الإبدال /al-ibda>l/, and (3) 37 data on الإدغام /al-idga>m/. It is hoped that this research can contribute in the form of novelty and progress in the field of Arabic linguistics in microlinguistic studies, namely phonology and morphology.
