<![CDATA[This study examines the communication strategies of couples in long-distance relationships (LDRs) who use WhatsApp as their primary digital communication medium. This topic was chosen because the rapid development of digital technology influences the dynamics of romantic relationships, particularly among the younger generation, many of whom are in LDRs and rely on bold communication to maintain emotional intimacy. The method used was descriptive qualitative, with data collected through semi-structured interviews with three university students who had been in LDRs for at least six months. The results showed that LDR couples employed various communication strategies, such as maintaining communication routines, maintaining emotional balance, coordinating clear messages, reminding people about time, and prioritizing communication to maintain intimacy and reduce conflict. WhatsApp plays a significant role with its voice messaging, video calling, and emoji features, which mediate emotional sensitivity and support relationship maintenance. This study confirms that planned and adaptive digital communication is a key factor in the success of long-distance relationships, while also contributing to the development of communication psychology and technology studies in the context of modern interpersonal relationships]]>
