Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Talking Stick terhadap Hasil Belajar IPS Siswa SD

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low of social studies learning result of grade V student of SD Negeri 02 Panggung Rejo. The purpose of this research was to know the influence of cooperative learning model type talking stick to the result of V class student social studies. The type of the research was experiment research. The design used in this research was quasi experimental design. The population in this research amounted to 41 student of grade 5. The determination of research sample used purposive sample. Data collection tools used questionnaires and cognitive tests. The data analysis was used t-test pooled varians. The learning results of this research was limited only to the cognitive domain. The result showed that there was a significant influence on the application of cooperative learning model talking stick tipe to the students' social studies learning outcomes.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD Negeri 02 Panggung Rejo. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V dengan jumlah 41 siswa. Penentuan sampel penelitian menggunakan purposive sample. Alat pengumpul data menggunakan tes kognitif. Analisis data uji statistik menggunakan rumus t-test pooled varians. Hasil penelitian menggunakan rumus rumus t-test pooled varians data thitung sebesar 4,276 sedangkan ttabel sebesar 2,022, perbandingan tersebut menunjukkan thitung   ttabel (4,276 2,022) berarti Ha diterima. Artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS), talking stick
