Everyone has the right to attain a good quality of life, one of which is a balance between work and personal life. For working housewives, balancing professional duties and household responsibilities is very challenging. This study aims to examine the extent to which counseling plays a role in improving work-life balance and helping working housewives manage stress during periods of increased workload. The study uses a mixed-methods approach with two research subjects at PT. X. Quantitative data were obtained through pre-tests and post-tests using the Fisher (2002) work-life balance scale adapted by Gunawan et al. (2019), while qualitative data were collected through Behavioral Event Interview (BEI) interviews. The gain score analysis results showed that subject N obtained a score of 0.2 (low category) and subject S obtained a score of 0.6 (moderate category), Indicates that counseling provides an increased understanding and ability to balance roles, although not yet significantly high. Counseling qualitatively helps both subjects in enhancing self-awareness, managing time, reducing guilt, and obtaining emotional and social support. The three-session counseling process with the 5F stages has been proven effective in promoting cognitive and emotional changes. Consequently, counseling is an important psychological intervention to help working housewives achieve a balance between the demands of their jobs and their desire to live at home. ABSTRAK Setiap orang berhak memperoleh kualitas hidup yang baik, salah satunya adalah keseimbangan antara pekerjaan dan kehidupan pribadi. Untuk ibu rumah tangga yang bekerja, menyeimbangkan tugas profesional dan rumah tangga sangat sulit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji sejauh mana konseling berperan dalam meningkatkan work-life balance serta membantu ibu rumah tangga pekerja dalam mengelola stres selama periode peningkatan beban kerja. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan mixed method dengan dua subjek penelitian di PT. X. Data kuantitatif diperoleh melalui pre-test dan post-test menggunakan skala work-life balance Fisher (2002) yang telah diadaptasi oleh Gunawan et al. (2019), sedangkan data kualitatif dikumpulkan melalui wawancara Behavioral Event Interview (BEI). Hasil analisis gain score menunjukkan bahwa subjek N memperoleh nilai 0,2 (kategori rendah) dan subjek S memperoleh nilai 0,6 (kategori sedang), menandakan bahwa konseling memberikan peningkatan pemahaman dan kemampuan menyeimbangkan peran, meskipun belum signifikan tinggi. Konseling secara kualitatif membantu kedua subjek dalam meningkatkan kesadaran diri, mengelola waktu, mengurangi rasa bersalah, dan mendapatkan dukungan emosional dan sosial. Proses konseling tiga sesi dengan tahapan 5F terbukti efektif dalam mendorong perubahan kognitif dan emosional. Konsekuensinya, konseling merupakan intervensi psikologis yang penting untuk membantu ibu rumah tangga pekerja mencapai keseimbangan antara tuntutan pekerjaan mereka dan keinginan mereka untuk hidup di rumah.
