Abstrak - Penelitian ini mengembangkan sebuah sistem pakar berbasis web yang bertujuan membantu petani dalam mengenali penyakit pada tanaman hias bunga pihong tanpa harus bergantung pada tenaga ahli. Petani di Desa Cidokom kerap mengalami penurunan hasil panen karena keterlambatan dalam mengidentifikasi penyakit tanaman. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini menggunakan metode Forward Chaining, yaitu metode penalaran yang bekerja dengan menelusuri fakta berupa gejala yang dimasukkan pengguna, kemudian mencocokkannya dengan aturan dalam basis pengetahuan hingga diperoleh kesimpulan mengenai jenis penyakit dan langkah penanganan yang sesuai. Sistem yang dibangun mampu mendeteksi berbagai penyakit yang umum menyerang tanaman pihong, seperti Rhizoctonia Stem Rot, Fusarium Root and Crown Rot, dan Botrytis Blight. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, sistem dapat memberikan diagnosa yang cukup tepat disertai rekomendasi penanganan yang dapat langsung diterapkan oleh petani. Dengan adanya sistem ini, diharapkan petani dapat melakukan identifikasi penyakit lebih cepat sehingga kerugian dapat diminimalkan. Selain itu, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap penerapan teknologi sistem pakar dalam meningkatkan efektivitas budidaya tanaman hias.Kata Kunci: Sistem Pakar; Metode Forward Chaining; Diagnosa Tanaman; Bunga Pihong; Pertanian; Abstract - This study develops a web-based expert system designed to assist farmers in identifying diseases that commonly attack pihong ornamental plants. Farmers in Cidokom Village often experience reduced crop yields due to their limited ability to detect plant diseases at an early stage. To address this issue, the research applies the Forward Chaining method, a reasoning technique that starts from the symptoms entered by the user and matches them with predefined rules in the system’s knowledge base. Through this process, the system provides conclusions in the form of disease identification along with appropriate handling recommendations. The expert system developed in this study is capable of recognizing several major diseases that affect pihong plants, such as Rhizoctonia Stem Rot, Fusarium Root and Crown Rot, and Botrytis Blight. Testing results indicate that the system delivers reliable diagnostic information and practical treatment suggestions that can be applied directly by farmers. The presence of this system is expected to help farmers respond more quickly to disease attacks and prevent significant losses.
