The purpose of this study was to determine the frequency of Skeletonema Costatum fostered optimal rumen fluid in increasing the survival rate of Vannamei shrimp larvae. The method used is Vannamei shrimp larvae stadia zoea obtained from the hatchery in North Galesong. Vannamei shrimp larvae are used as many as 200 birds/container research. Total container study 12 units with a capacity of each container as much as 45 liters of water but only filled with 20 liters of water. The treatments tested was feeding with different densities against Vannamei shrimp larvae survival. In this study, there are three treatments, namely feeding fostered rumen fluid with a density of 300 ml / container (treatment A), feeding fostered rumen fluid with a density of 400 ml / container (treatment B), feeding fostered rumen fluid with a density 500 ml / container (treatment C), and without the provision of rumen fluid (treatment D). Results of research on the best treatment obtained in treatment C (feeding with a frequency of 500 ml/container) with a survival rate of 55.33%. Need to pay attention to water quality parameters in order to stay in decent condition for the survival of Vannamei shrimp larvae.
