The emergence of variants virus have an impact on the spike in Covid-19. To prevent new case of Covid-19, one of effort which by limiting direct social interaction. This causes disruption of public health in the form of anxiety disorders, including the community of RT 01 RW 11 Ketintang Permai, Karan Village, Jambangan District. This study aims to provide knowledge about handling anxiety due to the Covid-19 pandemic as an effort to reduce anxiety in the community. The research method uses a participatory action research (PAR) approach with problem tree analysis. Where data collection is done through interviews and filling out questionnaires to determine the level of public anxiety through non-random sampling techniques. The results showed that the public's anxiety was caused by the absence of news filtration so that many received bad news and the public's lack of understanding in dealing with true anxiety. So an effort is made in the form of mental health socialization that is able to provide proper handling of anxiety. Where the whole community understands that positive thinking, relaxation and sharing as an effort to reduce anxiety. However, these efforts failed to provide prevention against the filtering of bad news due to limited time in socialization.
