Abstrak: Sosialisasi budidaya jamur tiram putih dengan metode ramah lingkungan merupakan langkah penting dalam meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat, khususnya siswa, terhadap praktik berkelanjutan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 12 Medan dengan tujuan memperkenalkan teknik budidaya jamur tiram putih menggunakan media serbuk kayu sebagai alternatif limbah organik yang dapat dimanfaatkan kembali. Serbuk kayu dipilih karena ketersediaannya yang melimpah dan kemampuannya dalam mendukung pertumbuhan miselium jamur secara optimal. Metode sosialisasi melibatkan penyampaian materi, demonstrasi langsung, serta praktik budidaya. Siswa diberikan pemahaman tentang proses sterilisasi media, inokulasi bibit jamur, hingga perawatan dan panen. Selain itu, aspek keberlanjutan juga ditekankan, seperti pemanfaatan limbah serbuk kayu dan dampaknya terhadap lingkungan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan minat siswa terhadap budidaya jamur tiram putih. Dengan adanya sosialisasi ini, diharapkan siswa mampu menerapkan teknik budidaya yang telah dipelajari dan mengembangkannya sebagai peluang usaha berbasis lingkungan. Program ini juga berkontribusi dalam mengurangi limbah kayu serta meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya praktik pertanian ramah lingkungan. Abstract: The socialization of white oyster mushroom cultivation using environmentally friendly methods is an important step in increasing public awareness, especially students, towards sustainable practices. This activity was conducted at SMA Negeri 12 Medan with the aim of introducing white oyster mushroom cultivation techniques using sawdust media as an alternative to organic waste that can be reused. Wood powder was chosen due to its abundant availability and its ability to optimally support the growth of mushroom mycelium. The socialization method involved material delivery, hands-on demonstration, and cultivation practices. Students were given an understanding of the media sterilization process, inoculation of mushroom spawn, to maintenance and harvesting. In addition, sustainability aspects were also emphasized, such as the utilization of sawdust waste and its impact on the environment. The results of the activity showed an increase in students' understanding and interest in white oyster mushroom cultivation. With this socialization, it is hoped that students will be able to apply the cultivation techniques they have learned and develop them as environmentally-based business opportunities. This program also contributes to reducing wood waste and increasing awareness of the importance of environmentally friendly agricultural practices.
