IMPLEMENTASI METODE BEYOND CENTER AND CIRCLE TIME TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR ANAK USIA DINI DI RA AL-QUSHWA

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low learning motivation of children at RA Al-Qushwa, as indicated by their lack of enthusiasm, attention, and active participation during learning activities. The purpose of this research is to explore the implementation of the Beyond Center and Circle Time (BCCT) method in improving young children’s learning motivation at RA Al-Qushwa. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects consisted of teachers and group B children, while data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results revealed that the implementation of the BCCT method significantly increased children’s learning motivation. Children became more enthusiastic, active, and curious during activities in each learning center. Teachers acted as facilitators who created enjoyable and meaningful learning environments through child-centered activities. The BCCT method also fostered children’s independence, responsibility, and social skills. Therefore, the BCCT method is effectively applied in learning at RA Al-Qushwa to enhance early childhood learning motivation. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya motivasi belajar anak di RA Al-Qushwa yang ditandai dengan kurangnya antusiasme, perhatian, dan partisipasi aktif anak selama kegiatan pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan metode Beyond Center and Circle Time (BCCT) dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar anak usia dini di RA Al-Qushwa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari guru dan anak kelompok A dan B, sedangkan data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode BCCT mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar anak secara signifikan. Anak terlihat lebih bersemangat, aktif, dan memiliki rasa ingin tahu yang tinggi saat mengikuti kegiatan di setiap sentra. Guru berperan sebagai fasilitator yang menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang menyenangkan dan bermakna melalui kegiatan yang berpusat pada anak. Penerapan BCCT juga membantu anak mengembangkan kemandirian, tanggung jawab, dan kemampuan sosial. Dengan demikian, metode BCCT efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran di RA Al-Qushwa untuk menumbuhkan motivasi belajar anak usia dini.
