The study used a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest model. The study subjects were 10 students with high levels of online game addiction based on the Game Addiction Scale (GAS). Data analysis used a paired sample t-test. The results showed a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores, indicating that behavioral counseling using self-control techniques is effective in reducing online game addiction in vocational high school students.
