<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the influence of school principals' leadership styles and teacher performance on the quality of elementary schools in Kutawaluya District, Karawang Regency. Employing a quantitative approach with a survey method and a causal-associative research design, data were collected through questionnaires administered to 104 respondents, consisting of principals and teachers. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression. The findings reveal that the principal’s leadership style significantly influences school quality, with a beta coefficient of 0.458 (p = 0.000), while teacher performance also demonstrates a significant effect, with a beta coefficient of 0.371 (p = 0.001). Simultaneously, both variables contribute 61.7% (p = 0.000) to the variance in school quality. These results confirm that transformative school leadership and optimal teacher performance are two strategic elements in improving the quality of basic education, particularly in resource-constrained areas. The study also emphasizes the need for a contextual leadership approach and continuous professional development of teachers as sustainable efforts to enhance school quality. The theoretical contribution of this research lies in the integration of social systems theory and transformational leadership theory to comprehensively understand the dynamics of quality improvement in elementary education within a rural context.]]>
