Vegetable is one of the horticultural plants that is very useful for the human body, because it contains vitamins, minerals, and contains high fibre. One type of vegetable is lettuce, which is often consumed as fresh vegetables. Shelf life is the time interval from production until the product is still in good condition and can still be consumed or accepted by consumers. The use of plastic packaging can slow down the deterioration of lettuce. The type of packaging used as lettuce packaging has the ability to withstand different damage. This study aims to (1) determine the effect of using OPP packaging and PP packaging on the shelf life of lettuce products at Green Feast Farm (2) determine the potential for increasing the acceptance of lettuce products at Green Feast Farm related to their shelf life. Data collection techniques using observation, interview and documentation methods. The analysis method used is quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of observations of the use of packaging types had a significant effect on the colour and texture of lettuce during the storage process but had no significant effect on weight. PP packaging can maintain the shelf life of lettuce until day 6 while OPP packaging until day 3 The potential for increased acceptance of lettuce using PP packaging is greater than the use of OPP packaging.
