MANAJEMEN KELAS TAHFIDZ DALAM MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS HAFALAN AL QUR’AN SISWA

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of tahfidz management in improving the quality of students' memorization of the Qur'an at SMPIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta, focusing on four aspects, namely the planning stage, organizing, implementing activities, and evaluating results. This research approach uses a qualitative method with a case study design, involving the principal, vice principal, tahfidz coordinator, tahfidz teachers, and students as participants. Data were obtained through observation activities, in-depth interviews, and document reviews, then analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman which includes the process of sorting data, presenting information, and drawing conclusions, and verified through triangulation between sources and methods. The results of the study indicate that the management of the tahfidz class is carried out in an integrated manner through determining memorization targets, preparing schedules, coordinating implementers, implementing the ziyadah program, muroja'ah, tajwid mushawwar, and tahsin, as well as planned evaluations that have an impact on further corrective actions. From a theoretical perspective, this research enriches the discourse on Islamic education management by presenting a target-based model for managing tahfidz classes and continuous evaluation that supports students' memorization improvement. Practically, the results can serve as a reference for school leaders in designing more effective tahfidz programs, supporting students in improving their memorization outcomes, and providing a model of good practice for Islamic education policymakers in developing tahfidz class systems. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan manajemen tahfidz dalam peningkatan kualitas hafalan Al-Qur'an siswa di SMPIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta, dengan focus pada empat aspek, yakni tahap perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan kegiatan, serta penilaian hasil. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, melibatkan kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, koordinator tahfidz, para guru tahfidz, dan siswa sebagai partisipan. Data diperoleh melalui kegiatan observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan telaah dokumen, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang mencakup proses pemilahan data, penyajian informasi, dan penarikan kesimpulan, serta diverifikasi melalui triangulasi antar sumber dan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan kelas tahfidz dijalankan secara terintegrasi melalui penetapan sasaran hafalan, penyusunan jadwal, koordinasi pelaksana, pelaksanaan program ziyadah, muroja’ah, tajwid mushawwar, dan tahsin, serta evaluasi terencana yang berdampak pada tindakan perbaikan lanjutan. Dari sisi teoretis, penelitian ini memperkaya wacana manajemen pendidikan Islam dengan menghadirkan model pengelolaan kelas tahfidz berbasis target dan evaluasi berkesinambungan yang mendukung peningkatan hafalan siswa. Secara praktis, hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi acuan bagi pimpinan sekolah dalam merancang program tahfidz yang lebih efektif, mendukung siswa dalam meningkatkan capaian hafalan, serta menyediakan model praktik baik bagi pemangku kebijakan pendidikan Islam dalam mengembangkan sistem kelas tahfidz.
