Rancang Bangun Smartbox Penerimaan Paket Cash on Delivery dan Monitoring Kapasitas Berbasis Internet of Things

Abstract

Abstract: The growth of e-commerce has increased the demand for secure and efficient package delivery systems, especially for Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions. This study designs and implements an Internet of Things (IoT)-based Smartbox capable of automatically receiving and monitoring packages without the recipient's direct presence. The system uses an ESP32 as the main controller, a load cell sensor to measure package weight, an ultrasonic sensor to detect package height, and an ESP32-CAM to document the package and courier through photographs. Control and monitoring are carried out via the Blynk IoT application, which displays real-time data on package weight, height, and box capacity. Additionally, delivery documentation including photos and package information is automatically uploaded to Google Drive for easy access and verification. Test results show that all system components function accurately and are well-integrated under real-world conditions. This Smartbox system offers an innovative solution to enhance the security and convenience of COD-based package deliveries.Abstrak: Perkembangan e-commerce mendorong kebutuhan akan sistem penerimaan paket yang aman dan efisien, terutama untuk transaksi Cash on Delivery (COD). Penelitian ini merancang dan mengimplementasikan Smartbox berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang mampu menerima dan memantau paket secara otomatis tanpa kehadiran langsung penerima. Sistem ini menggunakan ESP32 sebagai pusat kendali, sensor load cell untuk mengukur berat paket, sensor ultrasonik untuk mendeteksi tinggi paket, serta ESP32-CAM untuk mendokumentasikan paket dan kurir melalui foto. Proses kendali dan monitoring dilakukan melalui aplikasi Blynk IoT yang menampilkan data berat, tinggi, dan kapasitas box secara real-time. Selain itu, dokumentasi pengiriman berupa foto dan informasi paket secara otomatis diunggah ke Google Drive untuk kemudahan akses dan verifikasi. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa semua komponen sistem bekerja secara terintegrasi dan akurat, serta dapat berfungsi dengan baik dalam kondisi nyata. Sistem Smartbox ini dapat menjadi solusi inovatif untuk menunjang keamanan dan kenyamanan pengiriman paket berbasis COD.Kata kunci: Cash on Delivery, Internet of Things, Smartbox, Sistem Monitoring.
