<![CDATA[Hypertension is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide, with incidence rates continuing to rise, including in Indonesia. Although various types of antihypertensive medications are available, patient adherence to treatment remains low. One important factor influencing this adherence is family support, including emotional, informational, and instrumental support, which helps patients adhere to therapy regularly and sustainably. Objective: This study aims to analyze the relationship between family support and medication adherence in hypertensive patients at the Mabelopura Community Health Center (Puskesmas) in Palu. Methods: This study used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. Thirty-seven hypertensive patients were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire that measured the level of family support and patient adherence to antihypertensive drug therapy. Data analysis was performed using the Chi-Square statistical test to determine the relationship between variables. Results: The results showed a significant relationship between family support and medication adherence with a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). Ninety percent of patients with family support demonstrated high adherence, while 94.1% of patients without family support tended to be non-adherent to treatment. Conclusion: Family support plays a crucial role in improving adherence in hypertensive patients with medication. Family involvement needs to be strengthened through health education and counseling to support successful therapy and prevent complications from hypertension. Further research is recommended to evaluate the effectiveness of family-based interventions longitudinally.]]>
