ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh budaya keluarga dan dukungan orang tua terhadap prestasi belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) siswa SMP se-Kecamatan Sugapa, Kabupaten Intan Jaya, Papua Tengah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Sampel ditentukan melalui proportional random sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket budaya keluarga dan dukungan orang tua serta dokumentasi nilai prestasi belajar IPA. Analisis data menggunakan regresi berganda pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya keluarga dan dukungan orang tua berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar IPA, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peran keluarga berbasis nilai budaya lokal dalam mendukung keberhasilan pembelajaran IPA di SMP. Se-Kecamatan Sugapa,Kabupaten Intan Jaya-Papua Tengah. ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the influence of family culture and parental support on students’ achievement in Natural Science (IPA) at junior high schools in Sugapa District, Intan Jaya Regency, Central Papua. The research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The sample was selected using proportional random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires on family culture and parental support, as well as documentation of students’ IPA achievement scores. Data analysis was conducted using multiple regression analysis at a significance level of 0.05. The results indicate that family culture and parental support have a positive and significant effect on students’ achievement in Natural Science, both partially and simultaneously. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening family involvement based on local cultural values to support effective science learning in junior high schools.
