<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the relationship between assertive behavior and tendency of victim bullying. The hypothesis of this study states that there is a negative relationship between assertive behavior and tendency of victim bullying, with the assumption that the higher the assertive behavior, the lower tendency of victim bullying, and conversely the lower the assertive behavior, the higher tendency of victim bullying. The subjects of this study were high school 105 students of SMA Swasta Raksana Medan. Data were obtained from a scale to measure assertive behavior and tendency of victim bullying.. The calculation was performed using test requirements analysis (assumption), which consists of normality distribution test and linearity relationship test. Data were analyze by Product Moment Correlation with SPSS 19 for windows. The results of data analysis showed that the correlation coefficient was -0.209 (p <0.05). It showed that there is a negative relationship between assertive behavior and tendency of victim bullying. These results indicate that the contributions of assertive behavior variable to tendency of victim bullying was at 4,4 percent, while the remaining 95,6 percent is influenced by other factors not examined. From these results it is concluded that the hypothesis stating there is a negative relationship between assertive behavior and tendency of victim bullying is acceptable.]]>
