<![CDATA[Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) in pregnant women is a serious nutritional problem that adversely affects both maternal and fetal health. This study investigated the relationship between knowledge, family income, and dietary patterns with the incidence of CED among 65 pregnant women at Tikke Raya Health Center using a cross-sectional design. Data on knowledge, income, and diet were collected via questionnaires, while CED status was measured using mid-upper arm circumference (MUAC). Analysis using chi-square tests showed that 60% of participants had good knowledge, 67.7% had high family income, 55.4% followed adequate dietary patterns, and 66.1% were not classified as having CED. There were statistically significant associations between knowledge, family income, dietary patterns, and the incidence of CED (p < 0.05). Based on these findings, it is recommended to implement regular nutrition education, enhance socioeconomic support programs, improve individual dietary counseling, ensure the availability of adequate supplementary feeding, and encourage the use of affordable local foods cultivated in home gardens.]]>
