This study aims to determine the effect of using visual cues on the emotion regulation of preschool children during learning activities at Malajah Playschool Bali. The background of this research is based on the importance of visual media in helping children recognize, understand, and manage their emotions adaptively, especially in a multicultural learning environment. This research employs a quantitative approach with a correlational design and uses a census method, as the number of subjects was limited and the entire population of preschool children was used as respondents. The instrument used was the Teacher Rating Scale, validated through expert judgment. Data analysis was carried out using simple linear regression with the help of SPSS. The results showed a significant effect of visual cues on children’s emotion regulation. The F-test value was 116.314 with a significance level of 0.000 (0.05), indicating a statistically significant relationship between the variables. The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.708, meaning that 70.8% of children's emotion regulation ability was influenced by visual cues, while the remaining 29.2% was influenced by other factors not examined in this study. In conclusion, the use of visual cues such as emotion cards, visual schedules, and behavior symbols greatly contributes to helping children regulate their emotions in learning environments. This study recommends the consistent implementation of visual strategies in early childhood education as part of strengthening mental health and social-emotional skills.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan petunjuk visual terhadap regulasi emosi anak usia prasekolah dalam proses belajar di Malajah Playschool Bali. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya media visual dalam membantu anak mengenali, memahami, dan mengelola emosinya secara adaptif, khususnya dalam lingkungan pembelajaran yang multikultural. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional dan metode sensus, karena jumlah subjek terbatas dan seluruh populasi anak usia prasekolah dijadikan responden. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa Teacher Rating Scale yang telah divalidasi melalui expert judgment. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji regresi linear sederhana melalui bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara petunjuk visual terhadap regulasi emosi anak. Nilai F hitung sebesar 116,314 dengan signifikansi 0,000 (0,05) menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antar variabel signifikan secara statistik. Nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,708 menunjukkan bahwa 70,8% kemampuan regulasi emosi anak dipengaruhi oleh petunjuk visual, sedangkan sisanya 29,2% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti. Kesimpulannya, penggunaan petunjuk visual seperti kartu ekspresi, jadwal bergambar, dan simbol perilaku memberikan kontribusi besar dalam membantu anak mengelola emosinya di lingkungan belajar. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penerapan strategi visual secara konsisten dalam pendidikan anak usia dini sebagai bagian dari penguatan kesehatan mental dan keterampilan sosial-emosional anak.
