Abstract

The Effect of Wordwall Media on Student Learning Outcomes in Indonesian Language Learning in Grade X of SMU 9 Muhammadiyah Makassar. Thesis. Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program This study aims to determine the effect of using wordwall media on student learning outcomes in Indonesian language learning in grade X of SMU 9 Muhammadiyah Makassar. The research method used was a quasi-experimental one because the subjects of this study were students, where they were not allowed to be differentiated from one another, such as receiving treatment because they were treated as a control group. This type of research has a control group but does not fully function to control external variables that influence the implementation of the experiment. The results of the research on the use of wordwall media involved a series of presentations of learning materials that began with an open explanation, followed by opportunities for students to solve problems contained in the media, and ended with the delivery of all materials to students. The results of the study showed that the Indonesian language learning outcomes in the control group averaged 78.82, and after implementing conventional Indonesian language learning, the posttest score was 65.00. The experimental group, before implementing wordwall media, had an average pretest score of 66.36. Meanwhile, the posttest score increased to 80.00. The results of the t-test analysis on the effect of wordwall media use on Indonesian language learning outcomes in grade 10 of SMU 9 Muhammadiyah Makassar showed a good significance value, namely the effect of wordwall media on Indonesian language learning outcomes (sig = 0.003) is smaller than the predetermined alpha value of 0.05 (0.003 ≤ 0.05). Based on the results, it can be concluded that H₀ is rejected and Hₐ is accepted, stating that wordwall media has an effect on Indonesian language learning outcomes in grade 10 of SMU 9 Muhammadiyah Makassar.
