Abstract

The development of information technology has encouraged small-scale retail businesses to begin adopting information systems in managing their inventory in order to improve operational efficiency. One solution that can be used is an open-source Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, such as Dolibarr, which provides an Inventory module to support stock recording and control. This study aims to analyze the condition of stock management before the system was implemented, describe the implementation process of the Dolibarr Inventory module, and analyze the effectiveness of the module in managing stock at Toko Rafael retail business. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation, while data analysis referred to the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that before the system was implemented, inventory management was still done manually and had the potential to cause data discrepancies. After the implementation of the Dolibarr Inventory module, product and inventory recording became more structured, easier to monitor, and well documented. The Dolibarr Inventory module is considered effective in helping manage inventory in small-scale retail businesses, although it still requires adjustments and user understanding so that its use can be more optimal.
