Edukasi mengenai pentingnya ekosistem mangrove kepada siswa-siswi sekolah menengah sangat penting untuk menambah wawasan. Dalam kegiatan yang berjudul ” Edukasi Mengenai Pentingnya Ekosistem Mangrove Kepada Siswa-Siswi Smp Reformasi Plus 1 Kupang Tengah, Kabupaten Kupang, Nusa Tenggara Timur” merupakan kegiatan penyuluhan yang menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi parsitipatif dan media dalam pelaksanaannya. Kegiatan ini juga dilakukan dengan tujuan agar para siswa bisa memahami manfaat dan pentingnya ekosistem mangrove bagi lingkungan pesisir serta agar para siswa dapat menjaga ekosistem mangrove agar terhindar dari segala macam tantangan yang dihadapi oleh ekosistem tersebut. Materi dijelaskan dalam bentik media yaitu power point yaang menjelaskan tentang isi materi pentingya ekosistem mangrove dan juga manfaat ekosistem mangrove. Metode ini dapat dikatan berhasil karena para kelompok sasaran yaitu siswa telah memahami tentang materi yang telah diberikan. Para siswa-siswipun sangat antusias saat melakuan sesi diskusi dengan para penyuluh dan bisa menjawab dengan mudah saat sesi kuis dilakukan Education about the importance of mangrove ecosystems to middle school students is very important to broaden their knowledge. In the activity entitled "Education regarding the Importance of the Mangrove Ecosystem to Students of Reform Plus 1 Middle School, Central Kupang, Kupang Regency, East Nusa Tenggara" is an outreach activity that uses lecture methods, participatory discussions and media in its implementation. This activity is also carried out with the aim that students can understand the benefits and importance of mangrove ecosystems for the coastal environment and so that students can protect mangrove ecosystems to avoid all kinds of challenges faced by these ecosystems. The material is explained in form of media, namely a power point which explains the content of the material, the importance of the mangrove ecosystem and also the benefits of the mangrove ecosystem. This method can be said to be successful because the target group, namely students, understand the material that has been provided. The students were very enthusiastic during the discussion session with the instructors and were able to answer easily during the quiz session.
