This study aims to analyze the use of pop-up book media on the reading skills of grade V students of SDN 1 North Pinoh. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The research subjects consisted of 1 class V teacher and 20 students. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, with data analysis through the stages of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions as well as data validity tests using triangulation techniques. The results of the study show that the use of pop-up book media has a positive impact on students' reading skills. Students become more interested and enthusiastic in learning, more fluent in reading, more precise in pronunciation and intonation, and easier to understand the content of reading. Visual and interactive pop-up book media is able to provide a good learning stimulus and help students associate the text with the visuals displayed. Thus, pop-up book media has proven to be effective and innovative in improving the reading skills of elementary school students.
