AbstrakGoa Gajah merupakan destinasi wisata sejarah di Kabupaten Gianyar yang memiliki nilai budaya, arkeologis, dan spiritual yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi persepsi dan pengalaman wisatawan terhadap daya tarik wisata sejarah Goa Gajah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif (mixed method) dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner tertutup, observasi, wawancara terstruktur dan dokumentasi terhadap 100 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa daya tarik Goa Gajah dinilai baik, terutama pada aspek keaslian situs, keunikan objek sejarah, serta pengalaman emosional dan spiritual. Faktor something to see menjadi aspek dominan, meskipun masih terdapat keterbatasan informasi sejarah di area destinasi. Namun demikian, penelitian ini juga menemukan adanya kendala berupa kurangnya kejelasan dan kelengkapan informasi sejarah yang disediakan di area destinasi. Secara keseluruhan, pengalaman wisatawan di Goa Gajah tergolong positif dan berpotensi meningkatkan niat berkunjung kembali, khususnya bagi wisatawan dengan latar belakang keagamaan Hindu dan Buddha.Kata Kunci: Persepsi; Pengalaman Wisatawan; Wisata Sejarah; Goa GajahAbstractGoa Gajah is a historical tourist destination in Gianyar Regency that has high cultural, archeological, and spiritual values. This research aims to analyze the factors that affect the perception and experience of tourists towards the historical tourist attraction of Goa Gajah. The research uses a qualitative and quantitative descriptive (mixed methods) approach with data collection techniques through closed questionnaires, observations, structured interviews and documentation of 100 respondent. The research results show that the attractiveness of Goa Gajah is considered good, especially in the aspect of the authenticity of the site, the uniqueness of historical objects, as well as emotional and spiritual experiences. The something to see factor is the dominant aspect, although there is still limited historical information in the destination area. However, this research also found obstacles in the form of a lack of clarity and completeness of historical information provided in the destination area. Overall, the experience of tourists in Goa Gajah is considered positive and has the potential to increase the intention to visit again, especially for tourists with Hindu and Buddhist religious backgrounds.Keywords: Perception; Tourist Experience; Historical Tourism; Goa Gajah
