<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the need to improve students' writing skills in Indonesian. One effort that can be made is to increase the variety and attractiveness of learning media used by teachers so that the learning process becomes more enjoyable and effective. In relation to the problems above, this study aims to improve the writing skills of class II students of UPT SPF SD Negeri Parang Tambung 1 by utilizing visual media in the form of images. This study adopts the Classroom Action Research method with two cycles. Research data were collected through direct observation and evaluation of student learning outcomes. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively to understand the meaning behind the data, and quantitatively to get a general picture of improving students' writing skills. This study proves that the application of image media at UPT SPF SD Negeri Parang Tambung 1 has succeeded in improving the writing skills of class II students. This shows that image media can be an effective solution to improve the quality of learning in schools.]]>
