<![CDATA[This research is based on the problem of personal letter writing skills in class IV.A students at Bontokamase State Elementary School. This research aims to improve the ability to write personal letters by applying the PjBL model. In this research, the application of PjBL plays an important role in the fluency of writing personal letters. The type of research carried out is classroom action research (PTK). The research subjects were students of IV.A SD Negeri Bontokamase, totaling 31 students. This research was carried out in the odd semester 2024/2025 with 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. The aim of this research is to determine the learning design in writing personal letters through the application of the Project Based Learning model. From the results of cycle I, a total of 31 students had an average of 76.58 in writing personal letters. Of the total students, only 14 completed the personal letter writing activity with a percentage of 45%. On the other hand, it is known that 17 students were declared incomplete and had difficulty writing Personal Letters with a total of 55%. It is known that the results of the second cycle of the personal letter writing test obtained an average of 83.35, which has increased from the first cycle of 6.77, which was originally only around 76.58. Student improvement was also seen from 26 students getting scores above the KKM which has a percentage of 85%. Apart from that, there was a decrease in the number of students who had not completed or had no changes in personal letter writing activities from cycle I to cycle II, decreasing by 12 students. The percentage of students who have not completed is 15%. Thus, an emotional approach can improve students' ability to write personal letters.]]>
