This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the impact of domestic violence on children's mental health. The impact of domestic violence makes children more moody in any aspect, children become afraid, sad and anxious, traumatized, stressed, loss of self-confidence. The purpose of the study was to determine how much impact domestic violence has on children's mental health. This type of research is qualitative or field research. Data collection in this writing the author obtained the results through interviews and observations. The data sources in this writing use key instruments of parents and children, supporting informants, namely the closest relatives. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data display or data presentation, and data verification or conclusion drawing, then the data validity technique uses data triangulation. The results showed that: 1) Factors causing domestic violence in Lundar Village are caused by economic factors, jealousy, and not performing obligations/duties as a wife. 2) The impact of domestic violence on children's mental health in the village of Lundar, resulting in children becoming stressed, less confident, preferring to be alone, and anxious.
