Data collection techniques used in this study included observation, interviews, and document analysis. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach combined with the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in Indonesian language learning at the elementary school level yielded positive results, particularly in improving student engagement and comprehension. The PBL model provides students with opportunities to actively solve problems relevant to everyday life contexts, which helps to develop their critical thinking skills and teamwork abilities.
