The present study aims to analyse gambier pricing methods from a Sharia business perspective, with an emphasis on the principles of fairness in transactions, clarity and transparency, and the suitability of economic practices with Sharia principles in Nagari Gunuang Malintang, Lima Puluh Kota Regency. In preparing this thesis, the author employed descriptive research methods with a qualitative approach. The data gathered consists of both primary and secondary data. The primary data was collected through in-depth interviews with gambier traders, while the secondary data was obtained from the documents that were collected during the interviews. The data collection techniques employed included interviews, observation, and documentation. The analysis of the data was undertaken using the following methodologies: data reduction, data presentation and data conclusion/verification. The results obtained demonstrated that the method of determining the price of gambier in Nagari Gunuang Malintang still has several obstacles in the process of implementing Islamic pricing. The determination of gambier prices is influenced by its quality, yet the dominance of the toke in pricing determination, without consideration of broader market prices, results in farmers possessing minimal bargaining power for their products.
