The purpose of this study was to improve students' critical thinking skills at Budi Murni 1 Medan Catholic High School through the application of Problem-based learning (PBL) model integrated with Teaching at the Right Level. This research is a class action research conducted in 2 cycles. The research subjects were students of class VII-4 SMPS Katolik Budi Murni 1 Medan, totaling 25 students. Data collection methods through critical thinking skills test, teacher ability observation and student activity observation. The results of the study stated that there was an increase in the critical thinking ability of students after the application of the Problem-based learning (PBL) model integrated with the Teaching At the Right Level approach, with an average value of cycle I of 64.41 increasing to 88.16 in cycle II, classical completeness in the critical thinking ability test cycle I as many as 15 students (60%) increased to 22 students (88%) with a score ≥70 in cycle II, and the results of improving the critical thinking skills of students from the N-gain test value increased from cycle I of 0.37 increased in cycle II to 0.72 with a high improvement category so that it was concluded that the application of the Problem-based learning (PBL) model Integrated Teaching at The Right Level can improve the critical thinking skills of students in Class VII of Budi Murni 1 Medan Catholic High School
