This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD 2 Mijen on the material of human digestive organs through the application of the Make a Match cooperative learning model assisted by a demonstration board. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles. The subjects of the study were 23 students. The data collection technique used a learning outcome test, and data analysis was carried out descriptively comparatively. The results showed an increase in the average value from 55.7 in the pre-cycle to 69.1 in cycle I and 85.2 in cycle II. The classical completion rate also increased from 30.43% in the pre-cycle to 56.52% in cycle I and 86.96% in cycle II. These results indicate that the Make a Match cooperative learning model assisted by a demonstration board is effective in improving student learning outcomes. In addition, this model also encourages activeness, cooperation, and social skills of students during the learning process.
