The grade II student book Chapter 3 “Be careful everywhere” is important to study because there are still linguistic errors found in Indonesian textbooks for elementary schools, which can affect the effectiveness of learning and the achievement of educational goals. The purpose of this descriptive qualitative research: 1. to describe the results of the content study, 2. to describe the results of the language study, 3. to describe the results of the presentation study, 4. to describe the results of the display/graphic study in Chapter 3 of the grade II student book. This research method is using descriptive qualitative using content analysis instruments measured using a likeuri scale with 5 categories, namely 1 (ss) very suitable, 2 (s) suitable, 3 (ks) less suitable, 4 (ts) not suitable, and 5 (sts) very unsuitable. Based on the research results regarding content, language, presentation and graphics, it can be concluded that this book is suitable for recommendation with minimal improvement in some errors, such as the use of prepositions, quotation marks, capital letters, full stops, and incorrect numbering. However, in terms of content and language quality, this book is considered relevant to the learning elements and needs of grade II elementary school students, and it is hoped that the results of the analysis of this book are feasible to be published and able to support the development of language skills and the cultivation of safety character values in students.
