This study aims to describe the implementation and impact of the teaching assistance program conducted over several months at UPT N 060831 Medan Sunggal. The teaching assistance program was carried out directly in classroom settings, involving observation, lesson planning, teaching practice, and evaluation. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method. The data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show significant development in teaching competence, classroom management, and the ability to adapt teaching materials to students' needs. Furthermore, students demonstrated increased engagement and understanding of the subject matter. This study concludes that teaching assistance programs provide beneficial practical experiences for prospective teachers and contribute positively to the learning atmosphere in schools.
