This study aims to determine the influence of the Discovery Learning model with a Scientific approach on students’ learning motivation and learning outcomes in the subject of Office Management and Business Services at Budi Agung Private Vocational School Medan in the Academic Year 2024/2025. This research employed a quasi-experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest model. The population consisted of all grade X MP students, and a sample of 35 students was selected. The research instruments included a learning motivation questionnaire (16 items) and a learning outcome test (25 multiple-choice questions). The instruments were tested for validity, reliability, difficulty level, and discrimination index. Data analysis techniques included mean calculation, normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing using Paired Sample T-Test. The results showed an increase in the average score of learning motivation after the treatment. The T-Test results revealed a t value of 5.730 for learning motivation and 8.842 for learning outcomes, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a positive and significant effect. The average learning outcome score increased from 50.77 to 68.43, demonstrating that the application of the Discovery Learning model with a Scientific approach effectively improved students’ learning outcomes. Thus, it can be concluded that the Discovery Learning model with a Scientific approach has a positive and significant effect on students’ learning motivation and learning outcomes.
