<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the dynamics of class leader (komting) leadership in managing problems that arise within the academic environment. The komting holds a strategic role as a mediator between lecturers and students as well as a regulator of social dynamics within the class. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach through interviews with five students from the Electrical Engineering Study Program at Universitas Negeri Medan. The results show that the main strategies used by the komting in resolving conflicts include open communication, deliberation, and personal approaches. The komting is considered quite effective in maintaining fairness and class harmony, although challenges remain, such as limited authority, diverse student characteristics, and a lack of decisiveness in decision-making. Overall, the komting’s leadership reflects a participative and situational leadership style that plays an important role in creating a conducive learning atmosphere and developing students’ leadership skills within the campus environment.]]>
