<![CDATA[Early marriage remains a social phenomenon that frequently occurs in rural areas, including Kota Karang Village. This practice leads to various impacts, affecting social, economic, educational, and health aspects. This study aims to analyze the factors causing early marriage and the impacts it has on individuals and the community in Kota Karang Village. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The research informants consist of individuals who married at an early age, parents, community leaders, and village officials. The findings indicate that the main factors contributing to early marriage include economic conditions, low levels of education, social and cultural influences, and a lack of public understanding regarding the legal minimum age for marriage as stipulated in prevailing laws and regulations. The impacts of early marriage include disrupted education, psychological unpreparedness for marital life, an increased risk of divorce, and reproductive health problems. This study is expected to serve as a reference for village governments and relevant stakeholders in formulating policies and educational programs to reduce the incidence of early marriage in Kota Karang Village.]]>
