Rendahnya keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI TSM pada mata pelajaran Teknik Sepeda Motor menjadi permasalahan utama akibat dominasi metode konvensional yang cenderung pasif. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada materi perawatan dan perbaikan sasis sepeda motor. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan keaktifan siswa dari 47,36% pada siklus I pertemuan I menjadi 76,94% pada siklus II pertemuan II. Hasil belajar juga meningkat dari 36,67% pada pratindakan menjadi 83,33% pada siklus II. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa PBL efektif mendorong partisipasi aktif, pemahaman mendalam, serta pencapaian akademik siswa dalam pembelajaran vokasi otomotif. The low learning activity and outcomes of class XI TSM students in Motorcycle Engineering subjects remain a major issue due to conventional teacher-centered methods. This study aims to improve student activity and learning outcomes through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in motorcycle chassis maintenance and repair. A quantitative approach with a two-cycle Classroom Action Research design was employed. The findings show an increase in learning activity from 47.36% in cycle I meeting I to 76.94% in cycle II meeting II. Learning outcomes also improved from 36.67% in the pre-test to 83.33% in cycle II. These results demonstrate that PBL effectively enhances student engagement, deeper understanding, and academic achievement in vocational automotive education.
