The program was conducted in Batulayang Subdistrict, Khatulistiwa City Residential Area, Pontianak, involving 22 adolescents aged 10–15 years. The methods employed included interactive socialization sessions, reflective discussions based on contextual cases, perspective-taking exercises, and the formulation of social action commitments. The results indicated an increased conceptual understanding of empathy, heightened awareness of regulating smartphone use within family interactions, and the emergence of commitments to prosocial behavior within the community. This initiative affirms that strengthening empathy integrated with digital literacy serves as a preventive strategy in maintaining adolescents’ social cohesion in the digital era.
