Abstract

The purpose of this training is to enhance the company's financial management skills through the use of technology. In the training, participants are taught how to use the Manager IO application to record financial transactions, prepare financial reports accurately, and conduct financial analysis. The results of the training show that participants are able to understand and apply basic accounting concepts more effectively, which in turn supports better decision-making. The implementation of this application is expected to improve operational efficiency and the financial health of CV. Abstract

Motivasi adalah faktor kunci dalam menentukan kesuksesan seseorang. Motivasi bisa berasal dari faktor eksternal maupun internal individu. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat motivasi siswa SMA agar menyadari pentingnya melanjutkan studi ke jenjang perguruan tinggi. Program ini merupakan salah satu upaya memberikan motivasi eksternal kepada siswa kelas XII. Dalam pelaksanaannya, metode ceramah digunakan sebagai sarana untuk menyampaikan materi langsung di hadapan siswa di kelas. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh siswa kelas XII di SMAN 2 Palangka Raya. Setelah mengikuti kegiatan ini, siswa diharapkan lebih sadar akan pentingnya melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi. Diharapkan, mereka yang melanjutkan pendidikan nantinya dapat berkontribusi dalam memajukan dan membangun kota Palangka Raya

Abstract

This community service aims to enhance the capabilities of students at the University of Palangka Raya in using the Publish or Perish (POP) application as a tool for searching and analyzing journal references. In the midst of rapid advancements in science, students need to be equipped with adequate skills to produce high-quality scientific work. The training was conducted at the Red and White building of the University of Palangka Raya and was attended by 43 participants. The methods used in the training included material presentation, practical exercises, and discussions, allowing participants to apply the knowledge gained in a practical manner. Evaluation results indicate a significant improvement in students' skills and understanding of the use of the POP application, which is expected to positively impact the quality of research and scientific publications in the academic environment Keywords : publish or perish, Student, Scientific references

Kemauan dan kemampuan untuk mengambil risiko merupakan salah satu nilai utama dalam kewirausahaan. Memulai usaha merupakan suatu hal yang penting dalam melakukan usaha, oleh sebab itu memerlukan kiat yang tepat untuk memperoleh kesuksesan. Abstract

Model penguatan kemitraan dalam pengembangan usaha bertujuan untuk memberikan kemampuan kepada warga belajar agar mampu untuk menjalankan kemitraan dengan lembaga, intansi, dan dunia usaha dan industri dalam mencari solusi permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam menjalankan usaha. model ini diperuntukan bagi pengelola, instruktur dan stakeholder sebagai acuan menyelenggarakan pelatihan kewirausahaan. Proses penguatan kemitraan dilakukan dengan memberikan pengetahuan tentang langkah-langkah kemitraan dan mempraktekan langsung ke calon mitra yang dapat memberikan solusi permasalahan. Praktek kemitraan dilakukan pada mahasiswa PS Teknologi Hasil Perikanan Fakultas Pertanian UPR.Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah membangun keberlanjutan kemitraan dengan THP Squad, memberikan wawasan, pengetahuan dan keterampilan usaha pada mitra dan memotivasi terbangunnya mental wirausaha.Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada hari Sabtu, 5 Oktober 2024 mulai pukul 09.00-11.30 WIB bertempat di Fakultas Pertanian UPR. Abstract

The culinary industry in Indonesia, especially the snack and food sector, has great potential in creating job opportunities and attracting the interest of various consumer groups. However, the use of additives such as synthetic dyes and sweeteners in food is a major concern because it can pose health risks. These additives are used to improve the quality, taste, and visual appeal of food, but they can contain harmful substances such as borax, benzoic acid, sodium cyclamate, saccharin, and formalin that are often found in children's snacks. An education program on the dangers of synthetic dyes and sweeteners was carried out in class X of the Wood Craft department of SMK Negeri 4 Palangka Raya to increase students' understanding of the health risks of harmful chemicals in food. The counseling method involves conveying information about the types of chemicals, their health impacts, and tips for choosing safe food. Observations were made to see students' responses and participation during the activity. This educational program is expected to change students' consumption behavior, so that they are better able to maintain their health and spread awareness about the importance of healthy food in their environment

Abstract

Selat Barat Subdistrict is a densely populated residential area where people live in tenement barracks. In these Barracks residensials there are many housewives of productive age between 30-46 years mostly had junior high school (SMP) education and have a lot of free time. One of them is the RT.008/ RW.004 Barracks, Selat Barat Village. The existence of Modern Home Industry for housewives can be a solution to improve the region's economy. The potential Contemporary Home Industry as a creative craft product can be a solution in increasing the level of income and welfare of the people in Selat Barat Subdistrict by producing products with minimal cost and higher selling price in the Kuala Kapuas City area. Apart from that, there has never been such contemporary craft in the Central Kalimantan Province region in particular. Therefore, it is necessary to provide training in patchwork quilting sewing techniques. This training includes: (1) preparation, namely preparing training modules, basic knowledge of trial patchwork quilting sewing techniques; (2) implementation of training: making patterns, printing patterns onto fabric, cutting and joining, sewing or connecting; (3) evaluation. Abstract

The internal control system for inventory is crucial to be implemented in every business unit, including MSMEs. This can be achieved through mentoring the implementation of the internal control system for inventory, such as in an MSME located in Palangka Raya city, CV. ABS. The purpose of this community service is to for inventory so that the partner's inventory management can operate effectively and efficiently. The activity was carried out from July to August 2024 at CV. ABS in Palangka Raya City. The stages of implementing the community service program included the preliminary stage, the preparation of the internal control system for inventory, the training stage, the simulation stage, and the monitoring stage. The result of this activity is that the partner experienced benefits such as increased knowledge, ranging from understanding the internal control system for inventory to the implementation of an effective and efficient internal control system. Abstract

The training activity on making Wadi fish culinary for students of the Economics Education Study Program at UPR aims to equip students with skills and entrepreneurial insights. One form of entrepreneurial learning that can be applied is through the introduction of regional culinary specialties as business opportunities. The socialization of Wadi fish making, a traditional culinary dish of the Dayak ethnic group, has become one of the efforts to increase the entrepreneurial interest of students from the Economics Education Study Program at the University of Palangka Raya (UPR). The method used in this community service is participatory, with an approach focused on enhancing the active role of students in the training process. The training techniques are varied, including lectures, Q&A sessions, and demonstrations. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the training indicate an increase in students' interest in entrepreneurship, particularly in the culinary sector based on local wisdom, which can help create self-employment opportunities and provide a positive impact on the surrounding community
