<![CDATA[The objective of this research was to figure out the structure of macrozoobenthos comunities included the diversity, the evenness and the dominance in the estuary of Kuala Rigaih, Aceh Jaya District. This research was conducted from November 2015 to May 2016 using the purpossive sampling method. Samples were collected using quadratic transect of 1x 1 m2 at three stations with three repetitions. It was found 167 of individuals belong to 10 spesies of macrozoobenthos, class of Gastropods, phylum of mollusca that were distributed at all stations. The diversity index ranged from 3.08 to 3.11 with the everness ranged from 0.91 to 0.94 and the dominance index ranged from 0.13 to 0.14. This indicated that the estuary of Kuala Rigaih had the high diversity, the high evenness of macrozoobenthos and there was no species that dominated in the area.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui struktur komunitas makrozoobenthos meliputi keanekaragaman, keseragaman, dan dominansi di estuari Kuala Rigaih Kabupaten Aceh Jaya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2015 hingga Mei 2016, menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada 3 stasiun dengan 3 kali pengulangan. Pengambilan data makrozoobenthos dilakukan dengan menggunakan transek kuadrat 1 m x1 m. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa di estuari kuala rigaih terdapat 167 individu dari 10 spesies makrozoobenthos dari kelas Gastropoda Filum Mollusca yang tersebar pada ke tiga stasiun pengamatan. Indeks keanekaragaman (H) pada stasiun penelitian berkisar 3,08-3,11 dengan indeks keseragaman (E) berkisar 0,91-0,94 dan indeks dominasi (D) berkisar 0,13-0,14. Hal ini kajian bahwa tingkat keanekaragaman makrozoobenthos di perairan ini tinggi, tingkat keseragaman juga tinggi, dan tidak terdapat spesies dari makrozoobenthos yang mendominasi.]]>
