Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) merupakan tulang punggung perekonomian Indonesia, namun seringkali menghadapi tantangan dalam pengelolaan dan pengukuran kinerja secara komprehensif. Pengukuran kinerja tradisional yang berfokus pada aspek finansial saja tidak cukup untuk merefleksikan keberlanjutan dan pertumbuhan UMKM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pengukuran kinerja berbasis Balanced Scorecard (BSC) yang disesuaikan dengan karakteristik dan kebutuhan UMKM. Model yang diusulkan mencakup empat perspektif dasar BSC—keuangan, pelanggan, proses bisnis internal, serta pembelajaran dan pertumbuhan—dengan penyesuaian indikator kunci kinerja (KPI) yang relevan untuk skala UMKM. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur, wawancara dengan pemilik/manajer UMKM, dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dengan pakar. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan panduan praktis bagi UMKM untuk mengimplementasikan pengukuran kinerja yang lebih holistik, sehingga mampu mendukung pengambilan keputusan strategis dan peningkatan daya saing. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are the backbone of the Indonesian economy, but often face challenges in managing and measuring performance comprehensively. Traditional performance measurement that focuses on financial aspects alone is not enough to reflect the sustainability and growth of MSMEs. This study aims to develop a Balanced Scorecard (BSC)-based performance measurement model that is tailored to the characteristics and needs of MSMEs. The proposed model includes four basic BSC perspectives—finance, customers, internal business processes, and learning and growth—with adjustments to key performance indicators (KPIs) that are relevant to the scale of MSMEs. The research methods used are literature studies, interviews with MSME owners/managers, and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with experts. The results of this study are expected to provide practical guidance for MSMEs to implement more holistic performance measurement, so that they can support strategic decision making and increase competitiveness.
