Peran Self-Efficacy dan Perceived Social Support terhadap Work-Life Balance Pekerja Wanita:

Abstract

Today, married women workers have to play multiple roles, which is a challenge to achieve work-life balance. This research aims to determine the role of self-efficacy and perceived social support in the work-life balance of women workers. This research involved 238 respondents who were obtained by an accidental sampling method and were Indonesian female citizens who were actively working and married. This research instrument consists of the Work-Life Balance Scale, the Self-Efficacy Scale, and the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support. The research data were analyzed by the Multiple Regression Analysis technique with the assistance of SPSS 27.0. The results of the analysis show that there is a partially significant role, both from self-efficacy on work-life balance was 67.8% and the role of perceived social support on work-life balance was 54.9%. Simultaneously, the two variables also play a significant role in work-life balance by 69.7% so that the remaining 30.3% is distracted by other factors outside the scope of this research. Therefore, the implication of this research is to help provide information, especially for women workers, to build self-efficacy and perceived social support because it has a positive impact on work-life balance, so that they can improve the quality of life. AbstrakDewasa ini, pekerja wanita yang telah menikah harus menjalani peran ganda yang menjadi tantangan untuk meraih work-life balance. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran faktor internal (self-efficacy) dan faktor eksternal (perceived social support) terhadap work-life balance pekerja wanita. Penelitian kuantitatif ini melibatkan 238 responden yang didapatkan dengan metode accidental sampling dan merupakan warga negara Indonesia wanita yang aktif bekerja dan sudah menikah. Instrumen penelitian ini terdiri dari Work-Life Balance Scale, Self-Efficacy Scale, dan Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support. Data penelitian dikaji menggunakan teknik Multiple Regression Analysis dengan bantuan software SPSS 27.0. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peran parsial yang signifikan, baik dari self-efficacy terhadap work-life balance sebesar 67.8% maupun peran perceived social support terhadap work-life balance sebesar 54.9%. Secara simultan, kedua variabel tersebut juga berperan signifikan terhadap work-life balance sebesar 69.7% sehingga 30.3% tersisa didistraksi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian ini. Oleh sebab itu, implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah membantu memberikan informasi, utamanya bagi pekerja wanita untuk membangun self-efficacy dan perceived social support karena berdampak positif terhadap work-life balance sehingga mampu meningkatkan kualitas hidup.
