The manggabai fish (Glossogobius giuris) is a type of freshwater fish that has ecological and economic value for the community around Lake Limboto. This study aims to determine the bioecological aspects and habitat characteristics of manggabai fish in Lake Limboto. The research method used was a survey method with fish sampling and measurement of aquatic environmental parameters. Parameters observed included temperature, pH, water depth, and substrate conditions. The results showed that manggabai fish are often found in waters with muddy substrates and sufficient aquatic vegetation. The aquatic environmental conditions that support the presence of this fish have a temperature ranging from 27–30°C and a pH between 6.5–7.5. Manggabai fish play a role as an important component in the food chain in the lake ecosystem. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that habitat conditions greatly influence the presence and abundance of manggabai fish in Lake Limboto
