<![CDATA[This study aims to describe and analyze communication skill problems among children aged 5–6 years at RA Jamiyah Islamiyah Tanjung Pinang. This research is based on the importance of communication skills as a fundamental aspect of language and socio-emotional development in early childhood. In practice, several children were found to experience difficulties in communication, such as difficulty constructing sentences, limited verbal responses, lack of eye contact while speaking, inability to take turns in conversations, and inappropriate emotional responses to classroom situations. This research employed a qualitative case study method. The subjects of the study were children aged 5–6 years who were identified as having communication skill problems. Data were collected through observation, interviews with teachers, and documentation. The data were analyzed descriptively through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that communication skill problems were influenced by several factors, including limited language stimulation at home, low self-confidence, and insufficient opportunities to actively practice communication in the classroom. The findings highlight the importance of the role of teachers and parents in providing consistent language stimulation, creating a supportive learning environment, and implementing learning strategies that encourage children to actively communicate.]]>
